1. Agreement and Acceptance

By confirming payment or using the Retane Platform (“the Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service and Retane’s Privacy Policy.
Your 3-day free trial begins immediately. Unless you cancel before it ends, you’ll be charged £45 per month automatically.


2. The Service

Retane provides a software platform that enables small business owners to manage their day-to-day operations, including:
• Customer management and record-keeping
• Sending invoices, quotes, and contracts
• Expense tracking
• Job scheduling, reminders, and tasks
• General admin and communications from one dashboard

The Platform is accessed via web and mobile app. An active subscription is required for continued access.


3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and use the Platform only for lawful business purposes.


4. Billing and Payments

4.1 Pricing

• £45 per month, VAT inclusive where applicable.
• New users receive a 3-day free trial; billing starts automatically once the trial ends unless cancelled beforehand.

4.2 Payment Authorisation

By subscribing, you authorise Retane to collect recurring monthly payments through Stripe or any authorised processor.
Payments are non-refundable once billed.

4.3 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, Retane will retry automatically one day later.
If payment remains unsettled after the retry, your account will be paused (access disabled).
After seven (7) days of non-payment, the account and all associated data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.


5. Cancellation and Termination

• You may cancel anytime through your Client Portal: https://retane.app.clientclub.net/login

All clients receive portal login details by email/SMS during onboarding. If you lose them, contact [email protected].
• After cancellation, your account remains active until the end of your current billing period.
• Following that, it is held for seven (7) days, after which it is permanently deleted.
• Deleted accounts and data cannot be restored.
• If you later rejoin, you’ll receive a new, blank account (no historical data and no free trial).

Retane may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, misuse, or breach of these Terms.


6. Data Protection

Both parties must comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Retane acts as Data Processor for Client data and Data Controller for its own business data.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
• Use the Platform for unlawful or harmful activity.
• Upload data that infringes others’ rights.
• Send unsolicited or unlawful messages.
• Attempt to copy, resell, or interfere with Platform operation.

Breaches may lead to suspension or termination.


8. Support

Available daily 8 AM – 8 PM (UK time) via [email protected] or live chat.
Average response time ≤ 12 hours.


9. Intellectual Property

All software, code, and materials remain Retane’s property.
You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Platform while subscribed.


10. Liability Limit

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Retane’s total liability is limited to the total subscription fees paid by you in the previous three (3) months.

Retane shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including data loss, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Retane is not responsible for issues caused by third-party service providers or integrations used to deliver the Platform (such as payment processors, hosting, or infrastructure providers).


11. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate with or rely on selected third-party providers for secure payment processing, cloud hosting, communications, analytics, and related infrastructure.
These services operate independently of Retane and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Retane carefully vets all providers and ensures they meet appropriate security and compliance standards.


12. Changes

We may update the Platform or these Terms periodically.
The latest version will always appear at https://retane.co.uk/terms-of-service
Continued use = acceptance of the update.


13. Confidentiality

Both parties must keep all business and customer information confidential except where disclosure is legally required.


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law.
Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England & Wales.
